It may be a new year, but the same Covid precautions are in place at Mistie Rawlings Photography. I often get asked at booking, what my Covid precautions consist of. I have been diligent about keeping myself, my clients, and my family safe and healthy since day one, and will continue to do so. Here are a few things that I have been doing:
1. Masking up. I wear a mask for all studio sessions, and have moved from my surgical mask back to a KN95 with the Omicron variant. I have also gone back to wearing a mask outdoors, since I am sometimes up close with my clients.
2. I am fully vaccinated, and boosted (not that that seems to be making a huge difference).
3. My studio is by appointment only, so when you are shooting with me, you and your family will be the only ones there.
4. I use an air purifier with a UV filter in the studio to keep the air flowing, and as clean as possible.
5. All surfaces are cleaned before and after each session.
6. Wraps, props and bedding is cleaned after sessions.
7. I ask that people wear their masks in the studio when not being photographed, regardless of their vaccination status.
8. If I am sick, I will reschedule. If clients are sick, it is required that they reschedule as well. I have a strict No-sick policy. This applies to all illnesses. I know this can be inconvenient, and a pain, but it's important to keep each other healthy, and kids are do not enjoy being photographed when they are not feeling well, so it's better all around.
If you have any questions or concerns about the safety of the studio before booking, please feel free to reach out, and I would be happy to address them for you.
