Ringing in the New Year with a Studio Maternity Session

What better way to start the New Year, than a Maternity Session, to celebrate the upcoming arrival of your little one?  This beautiful mom, and her sweet daughter did a Maternity Session at my East Rochester studio.  In the winter, many people tend to think that Maternity sessions aren't really an option. They tend to envision the field sessions, or someplace super elegant outdoors, depending on their style.

I actually really love doing Maternity Sessions in my studio.  The intimacy that comes from being in the studio is just something that is harder to accomplish outdoors.  I especially love when women really embrace the changes that come about with their pregnancy, and show off that beautiful baby bump.  This mom was open to anything, and that is always so refreshing to hear, as a photographer.  When clients trust me to be creative, and to photograph them in a way that they may not see themselves is such an honor.
