A few months ago I met the owners of Laughing Gull Chocolates at a consultation meeting at their shop with another client.  The women who own Laughing Gull are super genuine, hard working and focused on their mission of "changing the world through chocolate".  Fast forward to a couple weeks ago.... I got an email from them asking if I would be interested in doing a couple jobs for them.  I absolutely wanted to work with them!  

The first project we did involved me doing head-shots of each of the women.  There was a little bit of a twist though... these women aren't just entrepreneurs, they are "mom bosses" in every sense of the word.  They bring their three babies to work with them every day and are able to parent and work at the same time by taking turns caring for each other's children.  They have the coolest set-up, with an area designated as a play area, not only for their own children, but for their customers to bring their children to play, and where they host events such as painting, baby Spanish lessons, and cooking classes, as well as mom meet-ups.  Not only did I get to do their head-shots, I also got to take photos of their little ones!  I told them it was my perfect job... coffee, chocolate, ice-cream and babies.  I mean really, does it get any better? 

The second part of the job was to shoot an ice-cream social that they hosted to announce their new partnership.  The event was such a success, and I have never been around such kind, and friendly people!  The photos I took will be used as they build their website, as well as for social media advertising. 

I am so happy with the images that I was able to capture.  I believe I was able to capture the personalities of the women and their children, and their very photogenic customers!
