Ok, maybe not too beautiful, but I am still enjoying the opportunity for some adorable shots. It's so sweet to see how little ones are mesmerized by the things that we, as adults tend to take for granted, or are even annoyed by. Children's photography is really something that requires patience, adaptability and sometimes knowing when enough is enough. It may be necessary to divert their attention, and reengage them in something else, or to take their cues, and just be happy with the images you have been able to get. Luckily when I am shooting, I usually have more than enough images to choose from. Different angles, positions and locations can make things more interesting and artistic. I find that the less "posing" you expect of a child, the happier they are, and the more natural and beautiful the images tend to be.
