With so many photographers out there, it is difficult to decide what will work best for you.  What do you base your decision on? Price? Location? Quality? Experience? Products? There are many things to take into consideration, and trust me, I don't blame potential clients for shopping around.  Why wouldn't you?  I believe what I offer stands out among the competition, however!

Here are 5 reasons I'm not your cookie cutter photographer: 

1. I offer flexible days and times for shoots, based on my client's availability.  I understand that clients have obligations, and Monday through Friday just does not work for everyone.  Between work obligations, children's activities and so forth, week nights/ days are hectic!  I don't believe in charging additional fees for weekend shoots, since most people would ideally want a weekend session.

2. I am all about creating a session that reflects my client's personality.  The location, the poses, the props... these are all individually selected based on the client.  Before your session, we will have a pre-session consultation either in person or by phone, so that I can get to know you better, and understand what you are looking for in your portrait session.  This will help me, and inevitably create a beautiful product that you will adore.

3.  I come to you!  As a mom of 4, I totally understand not wanting to take a newborn out of the house just days after birth!  I will bring everything to you.  I will also do the same for any of my other sessions.  I would actually prefer to photograph my clients in their natural element, providing that there is sufficient lighting and space.  

4. I offer reasonable pricing options!  Pricing is a big factor for many people.  I totally understand this.  Photographs are an investment, one that will provide you with beautiful images for years to come.  My prices are competitive with, or lower than most photographers in the area.  Included in my packages are your images, and a few prints, but I would love to work with you to create other products, such as photo books, save the date cards, thank you or holiday cards etc.  There are so many options, and they can fit every budget. While my prices are reasonable, there is no sacrificing on quality!  I have a professional full-frame Nikon camera with premium lenses, and editing software.  Your images will be high resolution, and of the highest quality.

5. I can relate!  As I have mentioned, I am a mom, and I was a teacher for almost 15 years.  I can relate to nervousness, silly and sometimes difficult kids.  I have patience, and I have the ability to "go with the flow".  I have enough experience to make my clients feel at ease, whether it's a senior session, or newborn session.  I understand the concerns of new moms, and moms who want their senior to look "just right" for their senior portraits.  I understand the love between couples, parents and their children, and I know how important it is to see that in the photographs from your session.
