On mornings like this one, when the sun is out, there's no rain, and you're less than a week away from Christmas, it's a perfect time to see what festivities the area has to offer. I am fortunate to be home during the day, so I can hit some of the attractions when there aren't other people there, and beat the crowds. This morning we went to Pittsford Farms Dairy because I heard there were reindeer there. When we arrived, ready to see the reindeer and take some photos, we were pleasantly surprised to find not only Christmas trees still for sale, but a local craftsman was set up with some wood carved products he was selling. The selection was beautiful.
There were no reindeer at the Dairy, but there was an adorable little calf. I was definitely not disappointed when I saw that little one. He graciously posed for some cute photos. We enjoyed the smell of the trees, took some pictures and then made our way inside for some of the tasty offerings of the Dairy. A Santa cookie for the little guy and a scone for my daughter. I was hoping to get a bite of that cookie, but he refused to share with me. :-)
Here are a few of the shots from this morning at Pittsford Farms Dairy...
