Last Sunday morning I had the pleasure of photographing 10 families at my Christmas mini session event.  The theme was "woodsy Christmas", and it was so much fun getting everything all set for the sessions.  I offered 15-20 minute sessions with a couple different background options and a bunch of different props.  This allowed each family to have some images that were a little different from the next.  The families I worked with were amazing, as always.  It's always so much fun to meet them, and see how different every child is.  Some sat and posed for photos, while others were more interested in running around.  The funny thing is, I always seem to find the candid, rebellious photos to be the best of the bunch.  Kids are kids, they don't want to sit in some stuffy pose and smile.  They want to have fun!  I let them go, and in some cases, ran around with them to get some good smiles.  Not only did it work, it also helped warm me up, since it was only about 35 degrees out, and I was outside doing sessions from 9-1!  

It's not too late for holiday photos.  I have sessions every weekend from now till Christmas, but I do have some openings available.  Book now, and get your images back in time for your Christmas cards!  I am not offering any more mini sessions this year, but I do have both Children and Family packages.  For more information, check out the "Investments" tab, or message me to set something up!

Here are a few photos from my minis... some families wish to protect their privacy and not have photos of their kids posted online, and I am always respectful of that.  I always get permission from my clients before posting any photos of them or their families.
