Planning For The Rainbow At The End Of This Storm

April 30, 2020

What many thought would be a couple weeks, has turned into a couple months of social distancing and shut down of non-essential businesses in New York State.  I am as anxious as anyone to get things rolling again, and get back to normal.... or a "new normal".  I am hopeful that we will be able to open up in time for what would normally be the busiest season for photographers, summer and fall.  This is normally busy, and considering the pause we have been on, it could potentially be even busier than normal (one can hope).  With that being said, I am encouraging/ inviting people to plan ahead for their sessions.  Because an opening day is still undetermined, here's how I am planning...

I am currently taking inquiries and starting the booking process for clients.  I am taking basic information about the type of session, location ideas and a general time frame that they would like to book.  Everyone is being added to a contact list.  Once the stay at home order is lifted, I will begin reaching out to clients and finalizing plans.

If you are looking to book a Senior Session, the time is now!  While most yearbook due dates aren't until around the beginning of October, waiting until the last minute is not necessary.  Take advantage of a beautiful summer, that golden hour evening light, and schedule your session for sooner, rather than later.

I also want to emphasize that I will be taking extra precautions for safety in the studio when we are able to reopen.  I will be sending information to clients as they book, about the steps I am taking, as well as what I will be asking of them.

I am so excited to get back to shooting, and to work with my previous clients, as well as those of you who may be thinking of booking for the first time.  Reach out with any questions you may have about a session.

Stay safe, and healthy!

Mistie
